Scheduling across timezones?

Scheduling across timezones is part and parcel of most coaches’ participation in the ReciproCoach community. Most coaches handle it well using our preferred time converter, but even the best of us can get caught out when daylight savings time begins and ends in different parts of the world.

On our new international scheduling resource page, we have provided three options for accurately scheduling appointments across timezones including two website links, as well as video tutorials for using the timezone features of iCal or Google Calendar.

If you find these resources useful, we encourage you to subscribe to the ReciproCoach youtube channel. In addition to the professional development videos we provide, we will continue to share tutorials that will help coaches make the most of the newest technology to manage their businesses better.

Does coaching supervision have a role to play in ethical decision-making?

Coaches are often presented with issues from clients that stretch “the boundaries of their experience, values, ethical codes and national laws” (Turner & Passmore, 2018). What to do is not always clear. Where can a coach seek assistance?

This issue of Coaching Research in Practice suggests supervisors can assist in this process. However, until now there has been limited research as to how. The research reviewed below is a step towards addressing the gap that exists regarding ethical decision-making within the coaching context.

We also run regularly business coaching rounds, where we utilise the power of double focus by both being coached on our businesses and coaching another coach on the same thing. Check our Events tab to see when the next business coaching round is scheduled.

Professional and personal development for coaches

ReciproCoach provides a platform for coaches around the world to engage in reciprocal peer coaching (also known as co-coaching), mentoring and supervision. Our program utilises the power of experiential and social learning to deliver deep, meaningful and long-lasting professional and personal development.

ReciproCoach lives and breathes Friere's philosophy that those who teach learn in the act of teaching, and those who learn, teach in the act of learning. ReciproCoaches enrich their professional practice not only by being coached, mentored and supervised, but also and perhaps even more so, by coaching, mentoring and supervising other coaches in our community.

ReciproCoach is a community of professional practice that taps into the collaborative potential of the coaching world to ensure that every coach has access to coaching, mentoring and supervision, the three cornerstones of professional practice.
