Introduction to Gaye Kuelsen

As a professional coach and lifestyle balance expert, Gaye Kuelsen has seen how the numerous demands of modern living have negatively impacted on our lives. Gaye believes that no one ‘needs’ coaching. However, if a person wants to change their work or personal life to have a greater sense of purpose and fulfilment, then coaching will deliver these outcomes for them. With extensive experience in business administration in the finance, insurance and medical industries, and over a decade in the government sector, Gaye brings her lived experience to her coaching. Gaye’s perspective on coaching is that it is a fun, positive and life changing experience. Her coaching sessions are a mix of self-reflection, inspired action with a hint of humour that stretch and challenge her clients so they gain the best results. Unlike other professional coaches, Gaye brings together the powerful combination of building business success and developing personal capability. She shows you exactly how to discover what is important to you and how to make it your priority.

What does "Approved" mean?

Close

An "Approved Coach" is someone who has completed a requisite number of hours specifically in coaching training with a verified coach training provider. An "Approved Student" is someone who has completed some specific coach training, but has not yet completed the requisite number of hours.

Coach training is verified by ReciproCoach, an international community of coaches who coach coaches. A coach's membership to this community, especially if they have recent feedback displayed below their profile, is the ultimate guarantee of the competency of a coach. Not only does it demonstrate their ability to coach another coach, but it is also a testament to their professional credibility as a coach who regularly engages in the process of being coached, thereby advancing their own personal and professional development.

Note: Coach training is different to training in any other helping service, including counselling, consultancy and training and development. All "Approved Coaches" and "Approved Students" have be trained to facilitate coaching as a process in its own right. Coaching can be defined as, "a goal-directed, multi-faceted process for enhancing people, work and life" (Griffiths, 2008).
