I am not familiar supervision. Who would benefit from joining? Is it for those looking for supervision or for experienced coaches that want to supervise?

The supervision groups are for coaches who want to be supervised. New coaches, experienced coaches, all coaches come together to learn from each other in that round. For more information, visit this page:  http://www.reciprocoach.com/supervision

What is the supervision group online discussion group?

This online discussion group is just for discussions that continue between the meetings via telephone each month. Summaries of the meeting are posted in this discussion group by your group coordinator and so are resources which other members provide.

I am wondering how I can supervise a coaching session. I am wanting to get more experience supervising and giving feedback on coaching sessions.

This is what we refer to as "mentoring". In mentoring, you have 3 one hour sessions with a mentor and mentee (separately). During each session as mentor, you usually listen to 30mins of a recorded session from your mentee and then give feedback and coaching on this for the remainder of the session. During your sessions as a mentee, your mentor does the same for you. We also have supervision rounds which are coordinated by fellow ReciproCoaches. If you are interested in supervising a group of ReciproCoaches, you're usually required to participate in a ReciproCoach supervision round first and then can apply to lead the facilitation of a round yourself.

Do you plan to offer any training that can be applied towards the new ICF Coaching Supervision Specialization (CSS) requirements?

At this stage, we don't plan to offer coaching supervision training that contributes towards the ICF Coaching Supervision Specialization (CSS), as there are already a number of well-established, high-quality coaching supervision training programs available.
