Do ReciproCoach coaching hours count towards ICF certification? Can I include them in my client coaching hours log?

Yes. ICF paid coaching hours include coaching that you do "for compensation". In the case of ReciproCoach, your compensation for the coaching you give is the coaching you receive, and as a coach you know the value of this!

I haven't heard from my coach/client. What do I do?

These days, emails get lost easily. Often, they don't arrive at their destination. Don't rely solely on email to contact your coach/client. If you haven't heard from them, try to send them a text message. If you still don't hear from them within a day or two of having sent a text message, please contact ReciproCoach so we can help you connect.

I need to build up my coaching hours. What should I do?

If you need to build up your coaching experience, you can join a round of ReciproCoach coaching. For every hour of coaching you give, you also receive an hour of coaching from a different coach. This is paid coaching, as you are receiving compensation for your time. When you join a round, check the number of hours of coaching it offers. We usually find that most people can work with a maximum of two coaches at the same time. Therefore we do not encourage and rarely allow someone to participate in more than two rounds at a time. In our terms and conditions, we do ask that you only join a round when you feel a willingness to be coached yourself. If you want to give coaching, but do not feel like you can willingly receive it at this time, you could join a gift round (eligible for coaches with 100+ client coaching hours). ReciproCoach gift rounds are offered at Easter and Christmas each year, and in these rounds you are permitted to give your assigned coach away to a loved one. In exchange, you also coach another ReciproCoach's love one.

Is there a place where a free member can post a request asking for a coaching buddy to practice with?

No there isn't. Actually, we don't support "buddy coaching". The problem with "buddy coaching" is that you end up coaching and being coached by the same person and this compromises the ethical agreement of coaches i.e. you can't coach someone who you share another relationship with that may impact the coaching relationship. A client relationship is certainly that! ReciproCoach was in fact borne out of failed "buddy coaching" relationships, where the buddy relationship deteriorated because of the overlapping relationships. The other problem with "buddy coaching" is that the client does not always feel a need to be coached, and this can make for very difficult coaching! It is therefore against the terms and conditions of being a ReciproCoach that members of our community organize their own "buddy coaching".

How do I stop the progress emails?

You can stop receiving progress emails by making sure that your progress is up-to-date and you are not behind the expected progress for a round. If you have finished a round and you are still receiving progress emails, it is because you have not left feedback for one of your partners. As feedback is an essential part of the success of our system, it is part of the terms and conditions for ReciproCoach that every member leave feedback on BOTH their coach AND their client. Most people forget to leave feedback for their client. Don't worry, it doesn't compromise their confidentiality. Client feedback is just used to ensure that all ReciproCoaches are displaying a genuine willingness to be coached.

Who completes progress for gift rounds?

Because your giftee does not have access to the ReciproCoach website, coaches need to take responsibility for logging progress in gift rounds. When you receive an email asking you to confirm the progress of your giftee (the loved one you gave the coaching to) you can just forward the email to them, so they can click on the link to confirm. When it comes time to give feedback, you'll need to ask your loved one to provide answers for the questions. Here are the questions, so you can copy and paste them and email them to your loved one before you go to leave feedback: How would you describe your coach's coaching style? What did you learn from being coached by your coach? How did you or any aspect of your life/work/business change as a result of coaching with your coach? Please include below a testimonial for your coach:

I don't want to leave feedback for one of my matches but I keep getting reminders to do it.

One part of ReciproCoach feedback is compulsory. This is a simple one page form that takes about one minute to fill in. It is only seen by the ReciproCoach administration and coordination team and is essential in our work of ensuring that the ReciproCoach community maintains its high standard. You will receive email reminders and will not be able to join a new round until this administrative feedback is complete.

There is a second section of feedback which gets displayed publicly on profiles. This part of the feedback is not compulsory, however, we recommend that you do take a few minutes to fill this is, as most coaches really value it. If you really don't want to leave feedback then you can leave the answers blank in this section.

I have just completed coach training and need practice with clients to pass the oral exam. Can I do this with ReciproCoach?

You are a perfect candidate for the student/new coaches round. As part of a student/new coaches round, you are assigned a client (who is also a student/new coach) to work with over a series of usually 6 sessions. In turn, you will also be assigned a coach, also a student/new coach, who you would be coached by. To join the student/new coaches round, you just need to be member and have completed at least 25 hours of coach specific training. Once you are approved, you can register via the menu path Coaching - Peer Coaching - Register.

What time to the sessions take place?

In the case of coaching and mentoring rounds, you schedule your sessions yourself. It's up to you and the coaches you are working with.

For supervision groups, which are run as a group teleconference, before you join you will see the dates and times for each meeting.

Do my reciprocal partners remain the same for the all the round? Or are these my two first reciprocal partners, and then I will be assigned some others?

You work with the same people in the same roles for the entire round.

If a coaching round involves 6 sessions, does that mean I do 12 sessions in total i.e 6 sessions with both of my partners?

If a coaching round involves 6 sessions, it means you give 6 sessions to your assigned client and receive 6 sessions from your assigned coach i.e. you do 12 sessions in total.

Does the coaching all happen on the same day with everyone?

No. You schedule your sessions yourself, just like normal coaching sessions. So it's up to you and the coaches you are working with to work out what time works for both of you. This happens for both coaching and mentoring, but for supervision groups, there are set days/times, which are advertised on the round before you join it.

How is ReciproCoach different from a coaching triad or buddy coaching?

If you're in a coaching triad, it's likely you're not going to get "just the right coach for you", but rather just "a coach." Because ReciproCoach rounds are made up of many coaches and these coaches come from a community of hundreds, it's more likely that you'll get a coach with a good fit. As for buddy coaching, ReciproCoach NEVER matches you up to coach and be coached by the same person. We believe that this compromised coaching ethics because being coached by someone you're coaching would definitely influence each coaching relationship!

My client has decided that now is not the right time to be coached. We have logged 4 (out of 8) sessions. Can you let me know if this affects my being coached and if there is anything else I need to do?

All you both need to do is report via the online system that you have “ended coaching”. You’ll both get emails to ask you if you want to finish the hours with someone else. If both of you say that you don’t want to make up the hours then all will end there (after you leave feedback for each other). However, if ONE of you would like to finish the hours with someone else then you BOTH will be put into a 4 hour round for the remaining hours in the round, which was to be 8. Note, this does not affect your being coached in any way, as your client has the option to receive the hours, and whether or not they take them, is their choice.

How many hours of coaching can I give and receive?

Most rounds include six reciprocal peer coaching sessions. This means that you give six sessions, and receive six sessions, making twelve sessions in total. Depending on the round, the sessions might be 30, 45 or 60 minutes in length. So you can work out how many hours of coaching you will give/receive, by multiplying the number of sessions, by the length of the sessions.

I am trying to get my PCC and need to coach more clients. What's the best way to do this?

To be allocated another client (and coach) you need to join another round. There are rounds starting every month. If you are getting a bit coached out yourself (because of the way RECIPROcoach works, you always get a coach and a client), you might be interested in a gift round (eligible for coaches with 100+ client coaching hours), where you give your coach away to a loved one i.e. someone you normally couldn't coach yourself. There is usually a gift round offered at Easter and Christmas each year. You can join these rounds the usual way, via the members area.

How do I confirm progress?

Yes, you just need to click on the link. You can also reach the progress page to confirm progress via the main menu, via the Action list associated with the round, or by clicking here.

My coach/client and I are running late and won't be finished before the end date of the round. What do we do?

If it's mutually agreeable to all involved parties, you can finish the sessions in a round after the end date, as long as you let the coordinator of your round know.

A lot of coaches run a little late - the end date is just a guide. The important thing is that your coordinator knows when you are scheduled to complete the sessions.

How does the feedback work? I just completed my first session as coachee. Do I have to wait until the end of the round or is there a process for giving feedback to the coach after each session?

After each session you give or receive, you need to log progress i.e. just log the fact that that session was completed. You don't need to leave actual feedback on your coach/client/mentor/mentee until the end of the round, when you have completed all sessions. If you want to give your coach feedback sooner than this, then you can give it during a session or by email.

I didn't have a good experience and don't want to leave negative feedback that appears publicly.

Only one part of the ReciproCoach feedback system is compulsory and that is only for administrative purposes, which does not get displayed publicly on profiles. The second part of the the feedback system is optional and if you decide not to fill it in, leaving the questions blank, this says enough on its own. There is also a private feedback section (it's the last question), where you can leave really honest feedback that will only be sent to the concerned person. We recommend you fill this part in if you did have a negative experience, so that the concerned person will be aware of the areas they need to develop. Finally, remember that the person who you leave feedback for is able to hide it from their profile. They will be notified when you leave feedback and can easily opt not to display your feedback in their profile.

I participated in a gift round and now my partner's feedback appears in my professional profile.

You can hide any feedback in your profile from this page:

https://reciprocoach.com/profile/edit#!#feedback

This page can also be found if you click on Edit profile under the Profile menu and going to the Feedback tab.

Your hours are not the same as mine, because IAC doesn't count hours. I coach by 30 min except for in Reciprocoach.

In the profile, hours represent the accumulation of every 60mins of coaching you have done i.e. just like a clock hour. So if you do 30min sessions, as a standard, then this is 0.5 hours and similarly, if you do 45min sessions as a standard, then this is 0.75 hours. We don't count sessions, but actual hours of coaching, as measured by a clock.

I've left feedback already, but I keep receiving reminders. Why?

It's very likely that you've only left administrative feedback. After leaving the administrative feedback (where you rate your partner), the website then asks you whether you want to leave feedback for your partner's profile. If you don't answer this question, the reminders will continue. So all you need to do is login to the members area, click on the round from the dashboard, and choose "Leave feedback" from the "Action" list once again. This will take you to the page where you need to say whether or not you'll provide feedback for your partner's profile. As soon as you answer this question, the reminders will stop.

How do I leave feedback?

From the dashboard, click on the round name. From the "Action" list on the right of the relevant round, select "Update progress" or "Leave feedback".

What do I do if I need to end my coaching early?

The first step is to inform your partner that you are ending the relationship and as far as possible, explain your reasons for ending the relationship. Then logon to the system and end your coaching relationship early by selecting the "end coaching" option from the progress list. It will ask you and your partner how many sessions you have completed and give you the option to get a replacement match to finish these remaining sessions. If one of you choose to finish the sessions with someone else, you both are required to do so. You will then be placed into a special round for the number of sessions remaining and only in the incomplete role. A re-match will normally occur within about a month of ending your original relationship early. In some cases, clients may feel that they are "complete" but still have one or two sessions as part of the round. In this case, you may consider all sessions "complete" and choose "no" when asked about a re-match.

Do we wait until end of round to leave feedback? I didn't find "Leave..." on Manage page.

Yes, you leave feedback at the end of the round. Once you've ended the relationship, the "leave feedback" option will appear on your management page.

Your questions about hours are not the same as mine, because IAC doesn't count hours. I coach by 30 min. I don't want to give you the wrong information.

When we refer to coaching "hours" we are referring to every 60 mins of coaching you have done. Therefore, if you normally do 30 min sessions, then you need to do 2 sessions for every 1 hour of coaching.

When you say 8 sessions, is that 8 sessions as a client or a coach?

When we say a round involves 8 sessions, that means that you give 8 sessions (as a coach) and receive 8 sessions (as a client).

Should I set up a contract/agreement with my client?

Please treat your client as you would a normal, fee-paying client, including contract/agreement and anything else you’d normally do with a client.

For the people on Reciprocoach do I need to get their personal authorization to include them in my coaching log?

No permission needed as all ReciproCoaches agree to this condition upon joining a round:

"give permission for your reciprocal partners to automatically include your details in their coaching hours log for certification purposes and to record sessions for mentoring/certification purposes, unless you specify otherwise"

This is my first ReciproCoach round and I'm wondering if there is a specific template or structure to be used in these coaching sessions? Also, is there a specific way of giving feedback/evaluation?

Just coach in the way you’ve been trained to. It’s wise to ask your client for feedback at the end of the first session (or by email after it) and then regularly throughout. There is no specific way however. We gather feedback at the very end via the system, but you’ll be guided through this.

I only had one session which didn't turn out so well - do I have to leave feedback?

You can leave administrative feedback (the first section) which is not public and simply helps us ensure that the ReciproCoach community maintains a high standard and then when it comes to leaving feedback on your coach's profile (the second section), just decline leaving feedback at all. Also, you can always leave questions blank.

Am I able to change / edit feedback I've already left?

Once submitted, feedback and testimonials can't be edited directly by members. However, if you’ve made a mistake that needs to be corrected, you can email us your revised version and we will correct it.

What should I do if the client I am assigned to coach doesn't actually feel they need coaching at this stage?

In fact, it's part of the ReciproCoach terms and conditions that anyone who registers for a coaching round actually feels a willingness and a desire to be coached. If your client does not demonstrate such willingness/desire, please address this with your client first, and if this does not improve the situation, contact your round coordinator for support.

With some clients in the rounds I go over the specified session length, as they need to talk more. Are we allowed to count the minutes that go beyond the time set by the round?

You need to get agreement from your client to go over time. If they agree, it’s fine. We provide the session length and frequency as a guide, but you can agree differently with your clients e.g. during a session, if you feel you need more time, you can agree to extend that session, or if you’re in a round that involves 6 x45min session and your client prefers 60min sessions, then you could agree for example to do 4 x 60 min sessions and then perhaps a follow-up half hour session. It really depends on you and your client and what you agree serves the client best within the general guidelines given by us (which are somewhat flexible). In terms of your client coaching hours log, I have always counted all of the time I coach, including any time I go over the originally stated session length.

My coach/client is not answering my emails and I am unable to schedule sessions.

If your coach/client doesn't contact you in a timely manner, please contact us immediately. In some cases, we'll extract them from the round and replace them for you. Also, we'll seriously evaluate whether they can participate again.

My client is cancelling sessions and is not committed to scheduling future sessions.

In this case, you could ask your client for a series of dates that they can commit to and stay committed to. Also be aware, that our T&Cs that the client is also committed to say that they need to give you 24 hours notice of a session cancellation/reschedule. If they doesn't give you that much notice, you may choose to consider the session to have taken place.

Where do coaching sessions take place?

In most cases, coaching sessions take place via video conference platforms such as Zoom, Teams, GoogleMeet or WhatsApp. Sessions may also take place by phone, at the expense of the person who requests that. Peer coaching partners mutually agree on where and when coaching sessions take place.

When my partner updates our status and/or leaves feedback, will I be emailed?

Yes, you do get an email after your partner/s have left feedback for you. Don't hesitate to tell your partners that you'd appreciate their feedback. Sometimes coaches just need to be reminded.

Our coaching relationship ended early and we did not complete all the sessions in the round. Can I make up the missed sessions in another round?

The first step is to inform your partner that you are ending the relationship and as far as possible, explain your reasons for ending the relationship. Then go into the system and update progress for the current round to ‘ended coaching'. When your partner confirms the progress, at that point you will both receive an email and will be asked if you wish to make up these sessions in another round. If you choose 'yes' then you will be transferred to a make up round and rematched as soon as possible.

What are the options for international calls?

Some telecoms providers in UK provide an opt-in cheap international calls option for a small extra monthly fee. You can make as many international calls as you want this month for only £3.50, which is a saving on the £8 or so that you pay for the one call to the bridgeline last month. It is worth looking online or ringing customer services.

Can I use ReciproCoach hours for the hours required for my credential?

Yes you can include these sessions in your client coaching hours log and they are considered by ICF as paid coaching hours, as you are receiving compensation for the coaching you give in the way of receiving coaching yourself. Here's where it's written very clearly: Definitions Client Coaching Hours A client coaching hour is 60 minutes of actual coaching with a client who has hired the applicant as a coach and not in any other capacity. Client coaching sessions of less than 60 minutes will count as partial client coaching hours (for example, 30 minutes of client coaching will count as 0.5 client coaching hours). Coaching must be done in person or by telephone or other voice-to-voice technology. Paid Hours Paid hours include: Hours of coaching for which the coach receives payment from the client (payment may be in any amount, or barter of goods or services, including coaching in exchange for coaching) Internal coaching that meets the definition below Third-party coaching that meets the definition below http://www.coachfederation.org/credential/landing.cfm?ItemNumber=2156&navItemNumber=778

Does ReciproCoach coaching qualify for paid coaching hours?

Yes, it qualifies as paid coaching, as your reciprocal agreement is with ReciproCoach. In return for the coaching you give to one ReciproCoach, we give you coaching with another ReciproCoach.

As a coachee/client, should I be proactive and reach out to my coach or wait for my coach to contact me.

You should definitely be proactive and reach out to your assigned coach. ReciproCoach encourages both parties to reach out to each other via email and/or text message to ensure that contact happens quickly and successfully.

During peer coaching, since we only do 30 minutes and 6 session, do we coach on the spot on what the peer would like coaching on, we don't have to do a full assessment as when we do with a client?

Normally, you should treat your assigned peer coaching client as you would any other client. However, sometimes the client does not want that, so ask the client if they'd like to fill in the intake forms (usually they say yes, as they want to see what other coaches do). It's best to ask your client what they'd prefer e.g. explain that normally you'd do this and this and ask them if that's something they'd like to do. While each round specifies the number and length of the session, if you and your client agree that one hours sessions work better, you could substitute say 6 half hours sessions for 3 one hour sessions. This would just mean you log progress every other session.

We are both assigned a coach and client. Do we schedule six (6) individual meetings with our coach and six (6) meetings with our client? These are not combined meetings. The client provides feedback on the coach that they are assigned after the six meetings have concluded.

Yes, you schedule and give 6 sessions to your assigned client and then schedule and receive 6 sessions from your assigned coach. Separately. Our program is one of reciprocal peer coaching, not a triad with an observer. At the end, we collect feedback both on your experience with your coach and your client. We do ask for feedback about your client, as we need to be sure that everyone is entering the partnership with a spirit of willingness.

Should do and introduction session or jump straight into a 30 minute contract session with a mini intake and then + 6 coaching sessions?

Usually for peer coaching, you skip the introduction session and consider the intake session as the first session.

My client has expressed interest in continuing with our coaching after our 6-session round is completed. Do the ReciproCoach rules allow either of the following: 1) Adding another round to our current one, so that we remain matched up? 2) Continuing our coaching outside of the ReciproCoach framework - on a paid, vs. barter, relationship?

1) If you both join the next round, we can simply match you up as coach-client again. You will then also get a coach yourself, as this will be the compensation for the coaching you give your client. Your client would also get a client and that would be their means of 'paying for' the sessions received from you. 2) We do not encourage ReciproCoach coaches to set up their own barter agreements, but do support clients' choices to continue with their coach under a normal fee-paying agreement. So yes, your client may pay you in money to continue coaching him/her, but as I said, we don't encourage people to set up their own barter agreements. The reason for this is that barter agreements can run the risk of creating ethical dilemmas, particularly when they are not arranged by a third party and involve a fourth party.

When coming to log these hours for the ICF accreditation, do we count it has 45 mins x 6 = 4.5hrs and do we put this has as paid coaching hours?

You put in the exact time that you coached. Often you might coach a bit more or a bit less in a session e.g. if you coach for 40mins, you'd put 40mins in your log, and if you coached for 50mins, you'd put 50mins in your log. We set up the details of our rounds as guides only and there is naturally a bit of variation either side of those guides. Also, yes, because you are receiving compensation for the coaching you are giving by way of receiving coaching, it is considered to be "paid" coaching.

Why do I have to leave feedback on my client?

Leaving administrative feedback on your experience with your client is compulsory, because we need to be sure that everyone who participates in reciprocal peer coaching is a willing client. There are some rare occasions when assigned clients are resistant to being coached and inconvenience their assigned coaches as a result. Therefore, we ask you about YOUR experience with your client. We do not ask you to release any confidential information, and public feedback about your client is optional.

How should I write up the payment terms in the coaching agreement with my client?

When writing up the agreement with your reciprocal peer coaching client you can write something like "Paid by ReciproCoach reciprocal peer coaching agreement".

What happens when your partner doesn't show up for a scheduled session?

As per the terms and conditions when joining a round of peer coaching, if client doesn't show up for a scheduled session, as the coach, you may deem the session to have taken place at your discretion. You would also deal with the missed session as you would deal with a missed session with any fee-paying client. If your client misses more than one session, you may also contact the coordinator to request a rematch. If you are a client and your coach does not show up for a schedule session, you should contact the coach to make sure there was not a misunderstanding, and then if there was no good reason for the missed session, as your trust in the coach would necessarily be undermined, email the coordinator to request a rematch.

What are some good free platforms for video conference sessions?

The most completely free platform for video sessions is WhatsApp and you can download the desktop version for use on your computer. Please note, however, that you currently cannot record WhatsApp calls. Google Meet is another free option for 1:1 sessions, but calls with three or more people are limited to 60 minutes and if you want longer group calls or want to record your sessions, then you'll need a Google Workspace account. If you have a Microsoft subscription already, then Teams is usually included in that subscription and is a good platform for video sessions, but only the Business subscription includes the option to record. Many people also use Zoom, but the free plan only allows sessions up to 40 minutes in length and you also need a paid plan to record.

Can we record all our coaching practices (both when we are coach and coachee) for learning purposes only and keep records for our ACC ICF accreditation process?

Unless you are part of a recoded sessions round, you need to ask permission to record any sessions you would like to record. Even if you are part of a recorded sessions round, we also recommend that you acknowledge that the session is being recorded.

Are we allowed to have the coaching clients sign coaching agreements or are the ReciproCoach terms and conditions enough? The reason I ask is that I would like to use my coaching hours towards my ICF ACC hours but I think we need permission from the clients, correct?

Actually, this permission is included in the registration terms and conditions (#16: give permission for your reciprocal partners to automatically include your details in their coaching hours log). Having said that, we do recommend using an agreement with your assigned client. Please treat your client as you would a normal, fee-paying client, including contract/agreement and anything else you’d normally do with a client.

I want to edit my feedback /testimonial for one of my partners. It is incomplete but I cannot access it.

Once submitted, feedback and testimonials can't be edited directly by members. However, if you’ve made a mistake that needs to be corrected, you can email us your revised version and we will correct it.

How can I access past peer coaching rounds to check the details so I may include them in my log and also access their testimonial?

The best way to do this is to go to History–Coaching/Mentoring–Feedback - Read feedback left for me. This will show all feedback left by your partners and you can also click on their username to see their profile, from where you can also access their contact details.

How many sessions are in the peer coaching rounds? Are they every week or can they be every other week?

The number of sessions and also the length of the sessions depends on the round you join. Usually however, most rounds involve 6 sessions, but the session length varies between 30min, 45min or 60min sessions. Also, the frequency varies. Some rounds involve weekly sessions, whereas others involved sessions every other week (the latter usually involves 60min sessions). You need to check the details of each round before you register.

I received the email with my assigned coach and client for peer coaching. Do we have the same coach and client for all sessions in the round?

Yes. Working with the same coach and client for all of the sessions allows you to establish an authentic coaching relationship with both your coach and your client

How many CCEUs do I get for a peer coaching round?

No CCEUs are awarded for peer coaching rounds. You may however include the hours that you coach in your client hours log. As long as you receive a coaching session for each session you give, you may consider this paid coaching.

I was updating progress for one partner, but I clicked on the wrong name. Now I’ve logged progress for the wrong person. How do I change that?

Click on ''Progress'' from the ''Peer Coaching list under the ''Coaching'' menu. There you will be able to undo the logged progress.

Can I use my partners' testimonials on my website?

As the testimonials are part of the public feedback, it is understood that these testimonials are considered public and therefore you may add them to your website as anonymous, first name only, non-identifiable testimonials. However, if you plan to include any identifiable information such as a partner's full name and location, you should ask your partners' permission first.

How do I leave feedback for a partner if the round is no longer on my dashboard?

If a round no longer appears on your dashboard, then you can find it in your history, which is the last item under the Coaching/Mentoring/Supervision menu.

Can I use recordings from a peer coaching round for my performance evaluation?

As your reciprocal peer coaching client is a "regular" client, you may in turn use any of these recorded sessions for your performance evaluation. Having said that, while it's permissible, it depends on the client whether or not you would want to use the recorded session for a performance evaluation. Some clients who are coaches are just like typical non-coach clients. However, others can find it hard to take off their coach hats and may coach themselves to some degree during sessions, thereby taking away your opportunity to display your skills for a performance evaluation.

Where can I find feedback left for me?

You can see public feedback your partners have left for you, if you have left public feedback for them. To view this feedback, click on "View profile" in the menu that appears in top right hand corner when you hover over your profile photo, then click on the "Feedback" tab. You can also hide any feedback you like, via the edit profile tab.

Does reciprocal peer coaching include feedback after each session?

Please note that standard reciprocal peer coaching rounds do not include feedback or debriefing after each session. Feedback and debriefing is only included in rounds which specify that within the round description. For all standard peer coaching rounds, in your role as coach, you should of course give your client an opportunity to give you feedback throughout the round, so that you can adjust your coaching to suit their needs (this is something you would do in any coaching engagement). However you should not seek their specific feedback in relation to coaching competencies and development skills. You will have an opportunity to leave feedback upon completion of your sessions.

Can you define "non coaching" topic?

This is a topic that is not related to coaching e.g. you wouldn’t bring a goal/challenge in relation to being a coach, your coaching business, or something else related to coaching. Instead, you would bring to the sessions topics that are from other areas of your life/work. It can sometimes be difficult for coaches to coach other coaches on something that is so close to home, and they can end up advising or doing something else that is not coaching. Therefore for some rounds, we restrict the topics to non-coaching topics only.
