You say that member information initially appears in a public profile, but only later when you log in as a member you decide what will be shown. Who sees the info in the initial public profile?

When you sign up, your details may be viewed by other approved ReciproCoaches. In addition, when you are approved, your brief profile may appear on the public website. However, you may choose to hide details on your profile at any time by going to "display options" under the profile menu of the members area.

Why can't I cancel my membership?

You cannot cancel your membership until you have completed your participation in any rounds you have registered for. Note that completing your participation in a round requires you to leave feedback on both your coach and your client. When you have done this, you will be able to cancel your members if you so wish.

How long do the memberships last?

Each membership specifies its own expiry date, so check the individual membership details. Having said this, in most cases, you will find that memberships typically last 345 days.

I got an email saying my membership is about to expire - what do I do?

Ideally, you would renew the same membership or purchase a new membership before the current membership expires. By doing that, you can take advantage of the discount that is only available before your current membership expires. When purchasing a new membership, it's a good idea to consider your professional development needs, as they may be different from the last time you bought a membership. Basically, you just need to work out how much coaching, mentoring or supervision you'd like to do in the next year and then buy the membership that best covers that. There is also the option not to renew your current membership, in which case your account will simply be downgraded to the free lifetime membership. You will miss out on the membership purchase discount that only applies before a membership expires, and you will also pay full price for any ReciproCoach purchases you make thereafter (all of our memberships include a membership discount on additional purchases.

Can you explain what the memberships are?

Our memberships are listed here. Different memberships give you more or less participation in particular types of rounds. You should consider your current professional development needs and choose a membership to suit.

How can I find out which membership I have and what credits I have left?

From the account option in the menu which appears when you hover over you profile photo (top right corner), select the Membership tab to see your current membership and remaining credits. Alternatively, you can click here.

If I have a credit left and I am near to renew my membership, will I loose it or will I keep it?

Membership round entry and resource credits will expire if you don’t use them, but you can register for rounds in advance and also activate resources for future years, so as to use them before your membership expires. If you have any coins, these do not expire.

What if I buy one membership and then change my mind?

If you haven't used the membership and realise that a different membership would suit you better, simply email us and work it out. If you want a membership that costs more than the one you bought, we'll typically send you an invoice to pay the difference. If you want a membership that cost less than the one you bought, we'll usually just refund the difference. Please note though, if you've already used the membership, it may be too difficult to change it at that point. We could still do it but may need to charge an administration fee.

What happens if I use all of my membership credits in the first three months?

If you use up all of your membership credits before the year is out, you can either pay-as-you-go for any additional events you want to participate in (in which case your membership will usually give you a discount) or you can simply purchase a new membership, which is also offered at a discount when purchased before your current membership expires.

Do I need to finish all of my rounds within my one year membership?

Membership credits generally expire after one year, so you do need to use the credits before they expire. However, you can use membership credits to register for future rounds and we usually have up to six months of events available for registration. Therefore, while a membership and its credits expire after one year, in reality, you can be participating for up to a year and a half on one membership.

Can I have two memberships at the same time?

Your account can only have one membership at a time, but any credits associated with an old membership will still be available until they expire. Therefore, if you purchase a new membership before your existing membership expires, the new membership will begin and the membership discount associated with the new membership will apply. However, any credits associated with the old membership will be available for use until they expire, as will the credits associated with the new membership.
